'Speyside'

The famous Speyside whisky region of Scotland is a true phenomenon. The landscape is naturally beautiful but the life force is the River Spey which flows through the region and which supports 50 distilleries in one relatively small corner of the country.

Speyside whiskies are generally known for being light, fruity and gentle.

Alexander Murray & Co brings you this fine expression of Speyside Single Malt. Aged for 22 years in oak casks and finished in ex-sherry casks to add even more complexity and depth to the spirit. Hints of honey and toffee transform into dark chocolate and oak spice on the finish.

A real Speyside gem.

Region: speyside

Speyside single malts are single malt Scotch whiskies, distilled in Strathspey, the area around the River Spey in Moray and Badenoch and Strathspey, in northeastern Scotland. Although generalized, known as a region that produces delicate and fruity whisky, many styles are produced here. Almost half of Scotland's distilleries are situated here, on the banks of the United Kingdom's fastest flowing river.
