'Speyside'

The Speyside region of Scotland is best known its abundance of whisky distilleries – 50 to be precise – with a history of whisky making dating back almost 250 years.

Alexander Murray & Co has procured a classic Speyside single malt for this bottling. Out of respect for the Distillery we have agreed not to name them but rest assured that this 15 year old Single Malt, distilled in 2006, offers the best of Speyside.

Fresh grass and pears on the nose make way to rich crème caramel and almond notes on the palate.
Matured in ex-bourbon casks.

Speyside single malts are single malt Scotch whiskies, distilled in Strathspey, the area around the River Spey in Moray and Badenoch and Strathspey, in northeastern Scotland. Although generalized, known as a region that produces delicate and fruity whisky, many styles are produced here. Almost half of Scotland's distilleries are situated here, on the banks of the United Kingdom's fastest flowing river.
